DESCRIPTION:
PHYDRO/P1A is a device for the recovery of LNAPL, equipped with elements dedicated to the recognition of air/water/product and stop and automatic restart systems. The device works with AC 220V electrical control panel that controls the pick-up equipment, which operates in DC 12V.
The equipment is provided with a maximum delivery height of 5 bars (reference data: flow rate of 2,0 l/min with 1 bars delivery height). The control panel is normally made in IP55 version for outdoor installation; if required, it can be made in an explosion-proof Exd version.
The components of the recognition system of air/water/product (floaters) form an intrinsically safe circuit Exia (double level floater Exia, driven by an isolated dual channel barrier Exia) with a protection up to two independent failures in the system.
The fixture body, of diameter 48 mm and length 430 mm, is composed of three cameras:
the upper camera (CAMERA 1)
intermediate camera containing the floats (CAMERA 2)
lower camera containing the pump itself (CAMERA 3)
IThe suction pipe of the pump, place the equipment in the middle part (CAMERA 2), fishing at an intermediate level between the two floats; are practiced on the body of the slots (filtering apertures for liquid ingress into the intermediate chamber) protected by a filtering net (filter), with square plot of 0.23 side (they are supplied also different plots for different types of products / viscosity).
The connection of the pump to the surface is via the delivery pipe of the product "Rilsan" of diameter 8 mm.
The electrical connection through the cables for the power supply of the pump (two-wire cable) internally connected with the connector, and for the floating signals (cable to two + two conductors).
During normal operation of the device, the pumping part is always immersed in the liquid as closed within its compartment (CAMERA 3). A watertight septum (with a teflon O ring) avoids that it can come in contact with the external atmosphere.
The floats (Ex ia) that determine the driving and stopping of the pump are placed above the lower chamber of the pump always ensuring full immersion. In addition to the atmosphere of the pump protection system, it is provided inside the electrical panel an ammeter that achieved the minimum absorption value set, intervenes immediately stopping the pumping of the fluid before the pump running dry.
The electrical panel, supplied at 220 V, is equipped with the manual / automatic operation selector (unstable manual with spring return) and lights that indicate the position of the suction pump (air, water or product).
The free phase petroleum contamination 2” recovering pump is composed of a body that contains the set of components; an upper head with holes for the passage of the power cable, the signal cable and the hole for the outlet pipe; an intermediate cylinder head which serves as a separation between the two chambers 1 and 2; an airtight septum beneath which is located the lower chamber of the pump housing always immersed in liquid; a head watertight bottom closure.
MAINTENANCE:
The system, once installed, requires no special maintenance, but to ensure a smooth operation, it is necessary to perform systematic checks.
The maintenance operations must be carried out by the man and that maintenance by trained and competent personnel. Behavior does not comply with the safety instructions listed here may result in property damage and / or the environment.
